"Best Little Honey-Hole in Kansas"
Fantastic RIO turkey hunting at CHR in April and May. On a scale of hard to easy....our hunting is easy with a near 100% kill opportunity on the first bird. We hunt secluded timber from ground blinds with great success. If you are new to turkey hunting or a seasoned old pro, let me show you why so many hunters come to KANSAS in the Spring.
Think you have what it takes to match wits with a KANSAS whitetail in December? We offer an opportunity for a very limited number of rifle hunters to gain access to our private deer properties during the KANSAS firearms season. Bow hunting these whitetails is available on a limited basis from Oct-Dec.
Mountain Lions in Kansas???
You be the judge. These two pics are being investigated by KDWP field biologist. They were taken the evening of July 2, 2016 by one of our game cams in Stafford County, Kansas. Possibly a mating pair? Look closely at the base of the tree in the second pic. There have been only 15 KDWP documented photos of Cougar in Kansas and all of them loners. This is the first showing 2 in the same frame. **(photo credit to Ryan Minnis)
